Manitoba couple wins national contest
Brandon, Man., April 24, 2006 - Brad and Marie Tilbury from Melita, Man. have won AgExpert's Drive Your Farm Forward contest grand prize, a brand new Bombardier Outlander® ATV.
Owners of AgExpert Analyst, Canada's leading farm accounting software, the Tilbury's were chosen from roughly 4,000 entries. AgExpert is a division of Farm Credit Canada (FCC).
“I never thought we'd win,” says Brad Tilbury. “We're just ecstatic. The ATV is going to help us out big-time. We run a cattle and grain operation, so this will really help us with checking fences and crops.”
It won't be all work, however, since Brad notes that he may fit in a bit of recreation during the winter.
“With our experience in Canadian farm management, we know that a vehicle like the Bombardier Outlander® ATV has many uses on the farm,” says FCC Area Vice-President Clem Samson. “AgExpert software is a great fit with our package of lending and farm management tools. It helps our customers make sound business decisions and experience greater success.”
AgExpert also gave away two early bird prizes. William and Cathy Hyndman of Balcarres, Sask. won a Whirlpool® kitchen package and Marilynn and Rick Deagle of Consort, Alta. won $5,000 worth of Syngenta crop protection products.
