Field Manager PRO designed for producers
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, January 8, 2007 – Producers can now track their crop production and field information with Field Manager PRO, a new software program launched today by the AgExpert software division of Farm Credit Canada (FCC).
Field Manager PRO is designed specifically for Canadian farmers to plan, record and track all field and crop information. The system covers all crop sectors across Canada, allowing multiple farms capability on both a desktop computer and either Microsoft Windows Mobile® or Pocket PC devices.
“The changing marketplace needs this system, so we’re excited to announce the launch of Field Manager PRO,” says Rob Schmeichel, AgExpert Director. “With this tool, producers can plan and analyze profit scenarios, as well as manage inputs, costs and activities. Using the Microsoft Windows Mobile® or Pocket PC devices will bring your farm to your fingertips.”
Field Manager PRO is the latest offering from FCC, which also produces AgExpert Analyst farm accounting software. Field Manager PRO retails for $499 but is being offered at an introductory price of $399.
Those purchasing AgExpert software or renewing a service plan are automatically entered to win $5,000 in Syngenta crop protection product and a two-year prepaid lease of a 2007 Ford F-150 truck. Any purchase or renewal needs to be made by Jan. 31, 2007 and March 28, 2007, respectively in order to qualify for each of the draws.
Field Manager PRO includes toll-free access to English and French software support specialists who understand Canadian agriculture.
